I joined Poetry Club honestly because I didn't have any way to like share it I felt like a lot of connections with the people that were in the meeting already like had a thing for Porsche EV I didn't really have faith in myself so she kind of brought that face out of me there's this Poetry Club is a growing group of students dedicated to creative writing into building a space to express themselves freely the club is run by Rachel's English teacher at creative writing of the club is it to expire play Food Express by Miss bar for you once us to be able to confidently right because she like she wouldn't have dragged us all out here she didn't see anything in the sea it's just a like being free not letting people tell you what you know what good poems look like it's like you know your poems are good because you enjoy it so that's how it's made me think about it is one thing to drag people out of Fortune they don't care but it's another thing to have people who do care and actually care to give you feedback for kids say oh my God this was good and all right that that helps build the confidence in the non-judgmental ball has been to multiple poetry workshops and performances together including events at the University of Michigan and a poetry Festival call louder than a bomb is the fact that we go out together transfer she slams Thurston 14 and like we're like making a name for herself like a like a ringtone versus 1400 yeah I know neck and doesn't even after that and he spends it watching over her as if she's some boss if he's her supervisor here's but yet they're bleeding and she said it's because I love you my lungs breathing is are my heartbeat with black my eyes bring to my drunken Haze miners burn the field black boy Joy, positivity going in with the work that hosted coming out with the best. Start to the test to see if no matter what you still going to try your best and then you see a bus and realize you can do better I told you of the way bombs blow always face down and you breathe me and he told me that you've been that way before how you suffered for many tiny apocalipsis I've met people who I can really say are good people like you go to these poetry slams in like there it is you matched but you could cost me like you can you call me I think I was going to go crazy for you and like I would never been able to do any of that I would have never been able to meet the people that I've met at those gorgeous nails without miss my free in his fortune Club well I do want you to English teacher which is partially influenced by being around this box for you who's a very good English teacher and I definitely do want to try and publish some of my stuff serious about writing like I want to publish a poem book of my own and that's basically my goal and I just want to like it the more you do something better you get I wouldn't have more experience with it so yeah but ever since I've been here like now I want to just go over to tell you new interest I just let you know this new hobby for me not to like a lot of kids like have that but they just don't know how to like a suspect that like Enterprises what's the one you offered think I told your hubby's creative clubs they lost four kids to just like bring out a different side of themselves do I get from private of the day probably didn't even know they existed impacted its members not only in their high school life what has influenced ideas about the future and their lives and careers Miss baumfree in the work she has done with the club has already changed lives and what the group's Rising status and hopes of a greater funding in the near future she will continue to do so on an even greater level she feel like we have a talented and she didn't want to go to way she feel like she felt like we should utilize it and that we should utilize it confidently in this world and in this sort of like life that we live as human beings we constantly are being compressed into things and I feel like when you Unleashed your herself you create are no matter what it could be visual it could be dancing and the music so I feel like this is just another example of being who you are expressing that and not being Unapologetic about who you are
