*All students must have a current MHSAA physical on file
in the Athletic Office prior to participating in sports.
A current physical for this school year is one that is dated on or after
April 15th, 2020. Health appraisal forms will not be accepted.
See link below for the MHSAA sports physical form.
*Due to COVID-19, the MHSAA is waiving the physical requirement
for the 2020-21 school year provided the student has a physical from
the 2019-20 school year on file in the Athletic Office.
Students will be required to complete the MHSAA Sports
Health Questionnaire in lieu of a new sports physical.
Pay to Participate Information
The South Redford School Board established participation fees for this school year as a one time $50 annual fee. This fee covers the cost of participating in a program but does NOT cover any additional fees that may be incurred. (Ex: camps, equipment, non-school issued uniforms, etc.)
Thurston Athletic Boosters Needs YOU!
What is Thurston Athletic Boosters?
They help raise money to purchase needed equipment and
supplies for the Athletic Department. They have managed
to raise thousands of dollars over the years for this purpose.
How do they raise the money?
They raise the money through the running of the concession
stand at athletic events.
Who runs the concession stand?
Volunteers selling available items to the fans attending the
event. This is where we NEED your help. We need parents to
volunteer a little bit of their time to make this a success.
